Not immediately: Sunslider Albums doesn't touch any of your original photos, and certainly won't delete anything off your phone (and please, do NOT ask any automated tools to go onto your devices to 'free up space' — that's a great way to lose precious memories 😳). Every Sunslider album is a fast, easy way to showcase and share your photos, saving you from having to sort them out by hand. But! If you buy our premium 6-pack of albums, you'll unlock the 'Download' feature, which lets you download a zip file with photos in your final album. That means that you can download those photos, manually delete all of the hundreds of others that you uploaded, and only keep the ones from your albums. The 6-pack also lets you turn on downloads for the people you share with, so they can keep their favorites too. But again, loud and clear, we never delete anything automatically; your original photos stay on your device until you delete them yourself.

Our algorithm analyzes each photo's color palette, composition, sharpness, and exposure, then groups similar shots together. It picks the best version from each group and ensures your album has real variety — different scenes, moments, and visual styles — rather than just the 30 sharpest photos. You can always swap photos in or out before publishing.

Once you publish your album, you get a link you can send anywhere — to the family group chat, an email to grandparents, a text to the friends who were there or weren't. Anyone with the link can view the album in their browser — no app, no account, no fuss. With a 6-album pack, you can also let viewers download the photos themselves, so the people you share with can keep the ones they love.

Our machine learning algorithm is operated completely in-house, and your photos are stored securely on European servers. Unpublished albums are completely private — only you can see them. Published albums are viewable by anyone who has the link, but they won't appear in search engines or public listings. We strip metadata from your images for privacy, and we never use your photos for training or advertising.

Paid albums let you upload up to 400 photos for curation and choose between 30, 50, or 100 photos in your final album. The 6-album pack adds two things: you can download your curated album (to print them or as a step in cleaning up storage on your phone) and you can choose to let viewers download too, so everyone you share with can keep their favorites.

Not yet, but we're working on it. Once we've got a partner set up, we'll let you know. In the meantime, our paid albums include the ability to download your curated originals, putting them all in one place so you can easily upload them to a print service of choice, rather than having to curate by hand. That said, our 'Download' function will give you a zip file of your final album photos, which you can easily use with your scrapbook provider of choice to make a printed album.

Not right now, as we're focusing on making photo curation genuinely great before adding anything else. We're thinking about adding video support in the future, though, so if it matters to you, let us know and it'll help us prioritize our roadmap.
